Motherhood Unscripted: The Stories We Tell Ourselves

In this episode of Trailercast, I sit down with Kayla Huszar, and we talk all things motherhood. Raw, unscripted motherhood. Or, as Kayla so perfectly calls it, the motherload.

The load is heavy. And Beautiful. And hard. And fun. And all the things in-between. Kayla, a mom of two young kiddos herself, offers postpartum support and expressive art therapy for moms. We talk about her work, the about the stories we tell ourselves surrounding motherhood, and how we can reframe being a mom in the light of being a human.

Even if you are not a mom yourself, I think you’ll benefit from this conversation when you consider your relationship with your own mom. We all have work to do around motherhood. My hope is that you leave this episode and conversation with Kayla feeling like I did… lighter and more at peace.
